It seems that the TV-Sat Nav / Comm phone package, / there is little difference between the two. I like the shape of the 7-series better than the 5-series, but I've read that you can get 2 adults in the rear part of the 7 Series for the upper central part of the rear seat.
Apart from that, there is nothing to recommend to one another?

The BMW 5 Series Sedan Sport is, and as such have sportier suspension systems. The 540 is a faster car than the 740, but both have a speed limit of 155 miles per hour. The top speed of 155 was agreed to impose the limitation of car manufacturers Europeam at the request of police speed. The 740 feels better in the 100 MPH 120, partly due to excessive vehicle weight. The engines are identical, the different suspension systems. Either car is a dream of unity, especially at high speeds, which are designed both cars for OT.
Gary H's wrong, Adam C is sufficient. I had a 1999 540i, the same 6-speed Sport model, and sold them to my parents when I refreshed the M5. My dad is over 6 feet high and is very adaptable.
I pulled the exterior design of the 740 originally good, but not seem to appreciate and have, and I really wanted a change of pace.
In relation to the rear, I'm not sure but I think) the 740iL (long wheel base model has a lot more space in the rear part 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. is wide enough for a start. They have 3 children systematically put on the back of me.
I recommend the 5 with the circuit. It is very pleasant to drive.
